Specific memes became focal points: 'Yo Angelo' (a JoJo reference noted in 2019) and 'pop pop pop' became touchstones. The subreddit's defining mechanism is repetition: take any content, any phrase, repeat it until the language warps. With 3 million comments from 548,000 authors, r/copypasta built a community dialect where deformation is the purpose.
