r/daystrominstitute — the lore, decoded

Home of Picard exegesis, DS9 debate, Klingon honor, and Trek as text.

Daystrom is where Star Trek fandom becomes scholarly precision. Picard, Sisko, and the Dominion Wars are analyzed with canonical rigor. The community debates Admiral promotions as narrative punishment, compares TNG and DS9 on merit, and treats every holodeck episode as a philosophy seminar. Expect footnoted arguments, faction politics, and the understanding that casual fandom has no place here.
